Professional Year Program in Australia was developed by the Australian Computer Society and was approved by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP), which give 5 migration points to students after successfully completion of the Professional Year course.
The Informational Technology Professional course is for students who gained an Australian Bachelor or Master Degree in IT or IS of a minimum of two years within Australia. The course provides a pathway for students for proceeding from university to professional world of employment in Australia. Also, it develops required skills and knowledge in the student which are required for doing work in a professional environment.
While students are on their internship of IT professional year, to completing the course title the students who are studying the course it is required for them to complete online Professional Eviornmngent Program.
ACS (Australian Computer Society) has developed the IT professional year program for helping international students of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) gain practical skills and fundamental training. Regular and scheduled sessions of counseling help students throughout the program session for enhancing extensive and practical knowledge.
Originated by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, the program is meant for overcoming the shortage of the skill in Australia. The program has a duration of 44 weeks, which contains the first 32 weeks for enhancing theoretical knowledge and communication skills training, while in the remaining period of education that is 12 wees, in these remaining weeks students provided with an opportunity to gain knowledge and learn skills in practice through internship.
